Was a little nervous after reading some reviews, but was pleasantly surprised when we got our room! It was clean and very spacious. Of course being an old building comes with its fair share of landlord specials, that was expected. The area felt safe and cute with its retro theme. Will be coming again next time! Thank you!

The staff at 2400 Court Motel are tremendous! They are super friendly, conscientious and helpful. I was so impressed by what they did in several instances to accommodate my needs. Both times I have stayed here, the rooms have been very comfortable and equipped with everything I could want. Cleanliness is impeccable in the rooms and on the entire site. Now that I have discovered 2400 Motel, I will always come there when I visit the city. The prices and the people are truly the best! Thank you so much!

I was a first apprehensive, the place has a reputation that is less then desirable. However not having a credit card and needing a room for the night this was the only place I could find. The service was quick, respectful and informative. The rooms were far above my expectations. Spotless, with personal wifi, all furniture and bedding was of a higher qaulity then I was expecting. I had an uninterrupted 14 hour sleep which I really needed. It had been a very stressful past couple of days and after an hour long hot shower I left feeling completely refreshed and better prepared to handle the matters I needed to resolve that day. Extremely grateful that motel 2400 was there. Thanks guys and I will definitely stay there again should I need a room in vancity. Credit card or not. I would happily recommend them to anyone based upon my experience. Thanks again !

It was very cold. My teeth were chattering. Could not change the thermostat. It was late when we got back from our venue so I didn't want to bother any one. The electrical outlet was loose and I had to bend the plug from lamp to keep it in the socket. The main ceiling light didn't work, nor the outside door light. It was fine though but not for the price. A little too high for few amenities in the room. No fridge or microwave. About $220 for one night, including taxes.

Just finishing up our 2-night stay. There are equal pros and cons, but I can honestly say we will definitely stay here again. I'll break it down- Pros: decent cost per night, good location, easy access parking, comfy beds, clean soft bedding, separate bedrooms Cons: kind of chilly-felt heat through the vents but it's a good thing I brought an extra blanket (although I'm sure they would have provided an extra if I had asked), low shower pressure (but decent amount of hot water), some outlets didn't work (used kettle in the back bedroom). It's a heritage building, you get what you'd expect. I still prefer this over an overpriced high-rise hotel with no parking.

The room was clean, but it’s a drafting old building, what you expect for 1-2 star hotel. New windows that open for air flow would be nice and help with heating etc. there is no fan in bathroom, no lock on bathroom door. A fan for moisture from showering/bathing as the window is exposed, anyone can look inside when opened, and just a small chain keeps from opening fully. Extra quilt on the bed for fall would be nice, there are space heaters available if your cold. The location was great for visiting family back and forth for my needs. The ceiling fan was mislabeled and the light icon was actually the fan, not a big deal but someone could easily swap around. There is a step up into the motel room so not really accessible for anyone with disabilities or mobility issues. The staff were friendly and helpful, overall a decent place. Our room could use new mattresses as they sagged and were pretty uncomfortable. It’s had a lot of movies filmed there so the character is quaint and likable I do hope with future upgrades they don’t change too much. The website does need a better description as when I booked one said 2 rooms, the other said 1 room 2 beds. We had a 2nd room, which was nice for my dad to have some privacy.

For a room from 1940's it's unexpectedly and exceptionally clean, it even smelled clean!! And I've paid twice this much for a room not fit for my dog (Ramada by Wyndham, Abbotsford, possibly the filtiest hotel I've ever stayed at!!) So the 2400 Motel, has its own nostalgic feel without the history of filth!! It's tucked in it's own little community right in the heart of the city!! Come stay, it's charming!!

had a great night at the 2400 court motel knowing its history and stardom on tv. this was the first place my family stayed when we arrived from australia and while my dad built the house in west van back in the 60's...so i booked the 2 bedroom, 282 upstairs and loved the amount of light it got from all the windows. bed were very comfy with loads of pillows, kitchen was narrow, but everything worked even if they were decades old (stove). bathroom was good, clean and had soaps and lots of towels, but it did show lack of care at the sink with a quick fix thinking a child did it. i will be back to stay before the day comes when they are torn down for the proposed 4 condo towers.
